Visual Arts
The Sautee Nacoochee Center boasts three art galleries on the campus, the Center Gallery, Gallery Too, and the Jim Thomas Invitational Gallery. All galleries are open six days a week with free admission and parking. Paintings, fine art photography, pottery, fiber arts, jewelry and ceramics are just a few of the mediums featured.

These galleries feature juried artwork of artists within a 50-mile radius of the Sautee Nacoochee Center. Each purchase comes with a handmade fiber arts bag suitable for gift giving. Artwork Jurying Submission Procedures for local artists and Jurying Standards can be found below.

Jim Thomas Invitational Gallery
The Jim Thomas Invitational Gallery is in the hallway of the center and features out of area artists invited to show their work.
Current Exhibit: A Collection of Paintings by the Sautee Nacoochee Watercolorists
We are very proud to spotlight the multiple paintings created by the talented group called the Sautee Nacoochee Watercolorists. Most of these artists began taking watercolor classes every Thursday afternoon from Becky Peebles-Norris over 15 years ago. Today the group has grown to nearly thirty active water colorists who continue to meet, paint and socialize on Thursdays at the SNC art studio.
On view March 13-May 3.
A gallery reception, open to the public, will take place on Sunday, March 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please plan to attend to view the art, enjoy light refreshments and meet these talented local artists.
