Visual Arts
The Sautee Nacoochee Center boasts three art galleries on the campus, the Center Gallery, Gallery Too, and the Jim Thomas Invitational Gallery. All galleries are open six days a week with free admission and parking. Paintings, fine art photography, pottery, fiber arts, jewelry and ceramics are just a few of the mediums featured.

These galleries feature juried artwork of artists within a 50-mile radius of the Sautee Nacoochee Center. Each purchase comes with a handmade fiber arts bag suitable for gift giving. Artwork Jurying Submission Procedures for local artists and Jurying Standards can be found below.

Jim Thomas Invitational Gallery
The Jim Thomas Invitational Gallery is in the hallway of the center and features out of area artists invited to show their work.
Current Exhibit: North Georgia Arts Guild
Enjoy a versatile Invitational Exhibition! We proudly present an exciting array of various types of art created by members of the North Georgia Arts Guild. This Rabun County art organization, formed in 1994, has over 100 members specializing in all facets of fine art and fine crafts.
Come visit us! You will always discover a huge array of reasonably priced artwork. You may select from original paintings, fine art photography, one-of-a-kind jewelry items, decorative and functional pottery, wood art, creations made of glass, and much more. We offer a large variety of books that are authored or illustrated by local residents. Be sure to see our Gift Shop items such as mugs, t-shirts, ball caps, coasters, specialty hand-made soaps and aromatherapy items all with our Sautee Nacoochee Center logo.
All the SNC buildings and galleries are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come see us!
